Sonic Scream is the ability to scream at a pitch so high that is hurts the ears of any person (excluding mermaids) and even enough to shatter glass. Diana used this ability to escape a police officer and June used this ability when she discovered that Venus used her power to erase Randy's memory of him loving her and knowing she was a mermaid.

- Diana and June are the only mermaids to use this ability.
- Mermaids seem to be completely unaffected by the high pitches of the scream.
- When June used the power, it shattered the glass that was at least 40 feet from her boat, thus, the scream is effective from great distances.
